Adventures with Colby together with Stewart Kambewa (Stewart The Cyclist) started an initiative to help less privileged students in secondary schools under the name 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT in 2020 where it is currently supporting one hundred (100) students for a start. The students have been drawn from different secondary schools across Malawi.
The schools are; Nkadabwako CDSS in Nsanje, Madziabango CDSS in Blantyre rural, Chikonde CDSS in Neno, Mpherere CDSS in Ntchisi, Mauni in Dowa, Mtakataka Secondary School in Dedza, Mitundu CDSS in Lilongwe rural, Mnjiri CDSS in Mzimba, Chankhomi CDSS in Rumphi and Thunduti CDSS in Karonga.
The initiative is supporting students with school fees, bags, notebooks and bicycles for those who walk long distances to and from school, 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT and also has a mentorship program for all the schools under the project.
With the support which is being provided, coupled with the mentorship program, students are being equipped in the right way.
We would like to inspire, motivate, prepare and grow the students into responsible members of the society. They should be role models to young ones coming after them. We would like to see the students do well and excel in their studies and make it to college and beyond.
2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT is working with different professionals who are committed to impart necessary knowledge, mould and grow the students into responsible members of the society.
